Hook-N-Haul is looking for an experienced and dependable Tow Truck Operator to join our team in Litchfield, Ohio.

If you have strong towing experience, take pride in providing professional roadside service, and can safely operate tow trucks and recovery equipment, we want to hear from you!

POSITION: Tow Truck Operator

Location: 9225 Stone Road, Litchfield, OH Employment Type: Full-Time Work Location: On-Site Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of tow-truck driving experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to towing and roadside service calls.

Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles.

Operate tow trucks and related towing equipment.

Assist customers with roadside emergencies in a professional manner.

Communicate with dispatch regarding location, service status, and job completion.

Perform basic vehicle and equipment safety checks.

Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Report accidents, incidents, or equipment issues to a supervisor immediately.

Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the assigned tow truck.

Provide excellent customer service during every call.

Requirements

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience driving a tow truck.
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
  • CDL required when applicable to the truck being operated. Hook-N-Haul operates trucks with different GVW requirements; CDL requirements may vary by vehicle.
  • Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record MVR.
  • Must be willing to comply with company drug and alcohol consortium requirements.
  • Ability to safely operate tow trucks and towing equipment.
  • Ability to respond professionally to customers and roadside situations.
  • Reliable, responsible, and safety-minded.
  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
  • Must follow company safety and accident-reporting procedures.
