MID LEVEL TO SENIOR LEVEL DIESEL MECHANIC
Job description
Diesel Mechanic must have basic computer and phone skills
Have proficent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.
Be able to pass pre-employment testing background checks, MVR, and drug testing
Diesel Mechanic must be willing to work rotating weekends on call
Diesel Mechanic Technician Responsibilities:
Perform minor and major repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers
Conduct regular preventative maintenance
Perform roadside repairs
Diesel Mechanic will properly document maintenance and repairs
Perform diagnostic tests
Maintain a safe and clean work area
HVAC, wiring, and computer diagnostics
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Diesel Mechanic may perform other duties as required
