Silvan Trucking is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our truckload operations in Columbus, Ohio. This role is critical to keeping our fleet running efficiently by coordinating drivers, managing loads, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide daily dispatch and operational support for truckload operations
• Communicate regularly with drivers to coordinate routes, schedules, and updates
• Update tracking systems and customer portals in real time
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipment records
• Assist with load coordination, billing, and administrative tasks
• Respond to issues proactively, including delays, changes, or driver needs
• Deliver high-level phone and operational support
Requirements
- • Minimum 1 year of experience in trucking, dispatching, or logistics (preferred)
- • Experience with McLeod software strongly preferred but not required
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and general computer systems
- • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- • Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal staff
- • High attention to detail and sense of accountability
- • CDL Class A (preferred but not required)
- • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random testing
